SOMA

find your place at flood and in the world

"From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work." Ephesians 4:1

What is Soma?

"SOMA", the Greek word for body, is the name of the annual conference we make available to the entire church body of FLOOD.

When is Soma?

The next one will be happening in the winter/spring of 2009.

What Makes this Conference Different?

  • First-timer participants identify their strengths and personality by taking two assessments prior to the conference.
  • Alumni participants get to apply and develop their strengths and personality learnings.
  • Participants go through the conference within a small group community to help process and debrief the weekend.
  • Participants have a coach/facilitator that helps them talk through next steps they can take after the conference.
  • Soma is for everyone every year - even if you have come through before!
SOMA is Designed to:
  • Inspire you to dream big
  • Make Flood feel like a little smaller place
  • Give you a vision for the world and your place in it
  • Be holistic--to care for your mind, body, soul, and heart
Should I Attend?
If you've ever asked any of these questions, SOMA is for you!
  • What is Flood all about?
  • How can I be a better leader?
  • Where is my place at Flood and in the world?
  • How do I find out about my strengths, gifts and passions?
  • How can I grow as a Christian?
  • How will I ever get plugged in to a church this size?
SOMA is for everyone! Whether you are already involved at Flood or would like to be, or if you simply desire to gain a more full understanding of God's desire to work in you, SOMA is for you!

HOW DO I REGISTER?

When registration is open you can visit the Welcome Tent in the Kearny Courtyard.
