Kotel is here!
So it is the end of an eventful Friday here for us in Lira, Uganda. A group of us were able to walk into town and enjoy a bit more of the culture here. The streets are just continually full of people and shops. We were even able to find out that the US beat Spain in the Confederations Cup! Crazy I know.
Our main attraction for the day though was at the second night of our Kotel Leadership Summit where about 130 leaders in Uganda came to see how they could better help with the Restoration that is occurring here in Uganda. We were very lucky to have Kevin Relyea with us for Friday night and my did he deliver! His message was powerful and inspiring to the leaders who seemed to hang on every word not just Kevin spoke, but the words that came from our Father. For it is to Him all the praise goes for the work He is doing through us in Uganda. Not only are we serving, but we are continually being served by a gracious, welcoming, and beautiful Ugandan public.
Until the next update please continue to pray for not alone our team, but for the interns who are here for two months, and the other servants of the Lord that are here from different parts of the U.S. This house is completely max’d out and the love, joy, and unity is overflowing. Please pray for this to continue, for the Lord’s work to move through us, for an overwhelming amount of love and grace, and for the mental and physical safety for all of our teams. We miss you all and cannot wait to share every moment of this trip with you.
