2. Select the child you would like to sponsor.
3. Follow the instructions to fill out the necessary information.
4. In the last step of the online form, in the comment box that asks “What made you decide to give today?” click "Other," and then type “FLOOD200”. Everyday, millions of African children suffer from a lack of basic needs, including food, education and clothing; these orphaned children have lost family due to HIV/AIDS, civil war or other tragedies. Through our ministry in Malawi and Uganda, Flood Church has seen their faces, heard their cries, and now desires to respond in a way we never have before. Through our partnership with COTN, it is our goal to see 200 Malawian children receive the gift of life through sponsorship, and to raise $15,000 to build a children’s home in northern Uganda.
Inspired by Ephesians 2:10, we believe all are created in the image of God to do good works. As we take bold steps of faith through this initiative, our hope is not only to impact our world by doing good work in the lives of these children, but also that through our efforts, these children would have the same opportunity to good work.
Our desire is to create a grassroots effort within the Flood Community, where you are empowered to share your story, the stories of these children, and influence those around you to sponsor children.
Continuing with the theme that all are created in His image, we believe that life and art illuminate truths about God. In order to celebrate this fact and mark the end of this sponsorship initiative, Flood will host Illumination on Saturday, November 21. Illumination is a unique evening of art and performance that will bring continued awareness to these children and raise funds for their livelihood.

At Illumination, one of our goals was to raise $15,000 to go towards a children's home in northern Uganda. This amount covers just part of a multi-phase project. Would you consider giving a one-time financial gift towards this effort? We will be accepting contributions until December 13th.

Who is COTN?
Children of the Nations (COTN) is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to raising children who transform nations. The organization currently serves in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and the Dominican Republic providing holistic care to orphaned and destitute children. For more information visit www.cotni.org.
Who can participate?
People of all ages & backgrounds can get involved. This is also a great evangelistic opportunity for you to offer family and friends a tangible image of the Gospel and the abundant life God promises to those who love Him. People who might not respond to an invitation to attend church may believe in this cause.
How will we track our progress?
Watch the Flood flyer and website (www.DIVEintoFLOOD.com) for weekly updates. We will also have some creative elements on Sundays on the stage to signify the number of children that have been sponsored.
